Hi, I normally do a booking through phone which most of the time not successful, is there any better way to accomplish that?, appreciate info sharing. Thanks
I was having a vacation in Guang Dong, China & Hong Kong during the last Christmas and New Year 2009. Feels good to be home in Malaysia and to see some interested members post comments in here.
Firstly, in reply to mamak's post; we are now trying to encourage all HGVC time-share members to use fax when requesting for bookings. Upon rejection from HGVC office, we expect them to stamp on your fax, "fully booked" if the case may be. Otherwise, they would have sent to you the confirmation slip. We are attempting to identify the succes rate of bookings. We do not have sufficient data at this point in time to "motivate" HGVC to run an online booking system through their website.
We, in the LC, have many times persevered in our request for this facility. However, their scheduled launch of this online booking has been hampered by numerous setbacks. Until then, we cannot think of a better method than to use fax for booking.
As for Heritage offices location, I only know of one where I go to, i.e. Kuala Lumpur. Which one did you have in mind? Ipoh, Penang or Kuala Lumpur?
In response to Aminah, that it the same one I use. And, I would have to agree that it does take some time for the person at the other end to pick up the phone. I shall have to remind Ms. Pricilla who is the member service manager at the next Liaison meeting about this matter. We did bring up this matter up at our last meeting, at the end of 2008. It may have fallen on a deaf ear.
On a last note, do let us continue to hear from members. Constructive comments are most welcomed.
